SO GO AHEAD AND GO TO THE NEXT SLIDE, SO I'M GOING TO TALK ABOUT THE HISTORY, THE BENEFITS OF BEING A VARSITY CLUB.

SO WE ARE A VARSITY CLUB MEANING THAT WE'RE NOT SCHOOL FUNDED BUT WE ARE ACKNOWLEDGED AS VARSITY ATHLETES AND I'M GOING TO TALK ABOUT AN OPPORTUNITY TO GROW AND OUR 2020 CAMPAIGN.

SO THERE'S A LOT OF INFORMATION ON THIS SLIDE, THERE'S TWO THINGS I WANT YOU TO KEY IN ON. FIRST A MY MENTOR WAS THE HEAD COACH FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE PROGRAM AND UNDER HIS REIGN AS IN MANY SPORTS YOU REALLY TAKE A LAUNDRY ROOM NORTH NORTH AND LAUNDRY ROOM CENTRAL IN ORDER TO BE A FULL TEAM.

WE'RE GOVERNED BY THE IHSLA AND IN ORDER TO BE A VARSITY SPORT UNDER THEM YOU HAVE TO JUST COME FROM ONE HIGH SCHOOL SO THAT'S A GREAT STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, SO IN 2013 WE SPLIT HFC AND FISHERS AND THAT WAS DAKOTA'S TEAM.

YOU CAN FAST-FORWARD TO 2016, AND YOU CAN SEE WHEN WE BECAME A VARSITY CLUB AND THE SUCCESS THAT WE'VE HAD AFTER THAT, NOT ONLY ONE THE THEY SAID SIX YEARS BEEN IN THE FINAL FOUR AND THE LAST FOUR BEING IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

SO THE BENEFITS OF BEING A VARSITY CLUB, THE FIRST THING YOU CAN SEE IS THAT THE SCHOOL RECOGNIZES US, AND THEY DO SO MUCH FOR OUR STUDENT ATHLETES, WE FOLLOW THE STUDENT HAND BACK, AND WE MEET DRUG TESTING AND WE HAD FOUR ALL TEAM STATES THIS YEAR T.

GET ON THE WALL OF FAME AND WE HAVE ACCESS TO THE LOCKER ROOMS AND ATHLETIC TRAINERS, WHICH IS A HUGE BENEFITS BECAUSE THEY KNOW OUR ATHLETES AND SO THAT'S A HUGE BLESSING, AND WE HAVE A WAYS CLASS FOR OUR LACROSSE PLAYERS.

THIS THINGS WE DO IS THE WE'RE STILL SELF IF YOU WANTED BUT WE TRY TO FUND-RAISE TEN TO 20 THOSE A YEAR AND WE STILL PAY FOR SCHOOL BUSS AND OUR REFEREES AND WE PAY FOR UNIFORMS EVERY THREE YEARS WE GET A NEW UNIFORM.

TURF TIME IS A PREMIUM BUT I DO THINK THERE IS A BENEFIT TO PRACTICING ON WHAT YOU PLAY GAMES ON.

THERE ARE FOUR OTHER PROGRAMS IN OUR AREA, CARAMEL WEST, STEREOGRAPH AND NOBLESVILLE THAT HAVE MORE THAN ONE TURF.

WE WESTFIELD ADD A FOOTBALL FIELD THAT HAS HAD A SOCCER LACROSSE TURF FOR MAYBE SIX OR SEVEN YEARS AND CARAMEL HAS FIVE BUT A LOT OF THEM ARE RUN BY THE DAD'S CLUB AT THE YOUTH LEVEL.

BENEFITS OF GROWING AND POSSIBLY GETTING A SECONDARY THANK YOU AT BOTH HF AND FISHERS, CONSISTENT PRACTICE SCHEDULE, SOMETIMES WE ARE AFTER GIRLS LACROSSE MEANING WE PRACTICE FROM 730 CONDITIONING TO 930 CONDITIONING AT NIGHT WHICH I DON'T THINK IS CONDUCIVE TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDY HABIT, IT'S GREAT TO PRACTICE ON THE SAME SURFACE SO THEIR LEGS DON'T HAVE TO TRANSITION BACK AND FORTH. LOGISTIC OF SCHEDULING FOR GAMES AND EVENTSES AS WELL AS WE PLAY OP A UNIFIED FIELD RIGHT NOW SO THE LINES ARE SLIGHTLY OFF AND I HAVE TO TELL EVERY COACH OUR BOX LINES ARE FIVE-YARD LINES LONGER WHICH THROWS THEM OFF A LITTLE BIT BUT NOT A BIG DEALED. SO NOW WE GET TO THIS SEASON, WE SCHEDULED A REALLY TOUGH SEASON AFTER MAKING WAVES IN 2021 AND BEING IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME THREE YEARS PRIOR AND YOU BE SEE A LOT OF LES AT THE BEGINNING OF OUR SEASON, OUR FIRST WEEKEND TRIP WE WENT TO CLEVELAND AND PLAYED TWO OF THE TOP FIVE TEAMS IN THE WEST SO OUR OVERALL RECORD IS 15 AND SIX, IN STATE WE ONLY LOST ONE GAUGE GAME IN SEASON AND OUT OF STATE WE HAD A TWO AND FIVE RECORD SO YOU'LL SEE A CULL MORE LISTENINGS UP THERE AND THAT WAS BECAUSE OF THE INDIVIDUALS, THE EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND IS HALF OF THE SEASON OUR MOMENTUM CHANGES PLAYING BROTHER RICE, BROTHER RIGHT IS A LONGER PROGRAM OUT OF DETROIT AND WE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY THEM BACK TO BACK IN THE STATE CHAMPS IN DETROIT AGAINST DUBLIN AND BROTHER RICE SO BROTHER RICE IS ONE OF 26 STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS UP IN MICHIGAN AND I THINK IT WAS A TURNING POINT FOR OUR SEASON NOT ONLY TO PLAY THEM BUT AL BECOME VICTORIOUS AGAINST THEM AFTER TEAM TALKS IN THE HOTEL. SO COMING INTO THIS PLAYOFFS WAS A LITTLE DIFFERENT THAN LAST YEAR, WE WERE THE ONE SEED WITH A PACIFIC NORTHWEST 16 AND ZERO RECORD IN THE STATE OF INDIANA.

THIS YEAR WE WERE THE THREE SEED SYSTEMMING IN SO WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY FOR US -- WE HOSTED CENTER GROVE BUT TO PLAY AT CARAMEL WE PLAYED IN SEMI STATE AND IT SEEMED LINE IT WAS A HOME GAME, THE AMOUNT OF A SUPPORT WE HAD FROM PARENTS AND INSTITUTES WAS OVERWHELMING AND I THOUGHT PROPELLED US, IT MADE IT FEEL LIKE A HOME GAME IN THE SEMI-STATE GAME AND WE'VE HOSTED THE LAST TWO STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS AND 2018, ALL YOU WILL THREE THAT WE'VE WON HAS BEEN AT HFC HIGH SCHOOL.

WE HAVE A TREMENDOUS YOUTH PROGRAM RUN BY TREMENDOUS MEN AND PARENTS AND THEY DO A GREAT JOB AND MAYBE OUR JOB JUST THAT MUCH MORE GRATIFYING AND THAT MUCH EASIER.
