I WOULD I'D LIKE TO SUGGEST THE WORDING BE ALLEGEDDED TO INCLUDE THE WRIGHT RIGHT TO RECORD THE WORK SESSIONS WHICH WHILE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ARE OFTEN HELD DURING THE BUSINESS DAY AND ARE NOT STREAMS TO MY KNOWLEDGE. THE POLICY ALSO STATE THAT EMPLOYEES CAN MAKE AUDIO OR VIDEO REPORTS THIS THE CLASSROOM WHILE AT THE SAME TIME STUDENTS AND PARENT CAN ONLY RECORD WITH PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT. SO THERE IS A BIT OF DISCONNECT, THERE A POLICY AS TO HOW THE SUPERINTENDENT WOULD HANDLE THE APPROVAL PROCESS? ARE PARENTS PROHIBITED FROM REPORTING DURING OPEN HOUSE AND IN SITUATIONINGS WHERE THERE MAY BE QUESTIONABLE ACTIVITY OCCURRING IN A CLASSROOM IS THERE A PROCEDURE OUT LINING HOW THE DISTRICT WILL INVESTIGATE CLASSROOM ISSUES RAISED AND GUARANTEE TRANSPARENCY ABSENT A STUDENT'S ABILITY TO RECORD IT. THE SAME QUESTION APPLIES TO MEETINGS WITH PARENTS WHERE AUDIO-RECORDED IS PERMITTED WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE SUPERINTENDENT.
